The Research Center in the Heart of Europe and Germany

The Magnetic Resonance Research, Application & Education Center (MRB) is a spin-off of the Department of Biophysics, University of Würzburg, an international expert in the research area of MRI and MRS and its translation into biomedical and industrial applications.

The MRB was founded in 2005 as a non-profit institution dedicated to industrial and scientific collaborations. The Research Center for Magnetic Resonance is financially supported by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology (BayStMWIVT), which is an important base for the successful R&D-activities of the institute.

The MRB is a customer-related research organization and is dedicated to work with and for its academic and industrial partners.
